My name is Milana!
Like many introverts, I’m not usually one to talk about myself, but hey, I’m making an exception here. Here are a few interesting facts about me:
- My journey began with a deep fascination for architecture, which led me to earn a master’s degree in Interior Architecture. This field has always intrigued me, blending creativity with functionality.
- Language is another passion of mine. I speak Serbian, English and French, but Italian has always been on my list of languages to learn. There’s something about the melody of Italian that resonates with my love for design.
- Traveling is a huge part of my life. I’ve had the privilege of exploring over 30 countries across three continents. Each trip not only satisfies my wanderlust but also feeds my design sensibilities.
- Since childhood, I’ve been drawn to Italian interior design magazines. This fascination continues today, and I make a point to pick up design magazines from every place I visit.
- Flower arrangements and plants have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Their beauty has always inspired me, and this love extends to my hobby of analog photography. I fell in love with my Canon EOS-3 a few years ago, and it has become an essential tool for capturing moments and details.
- In the kitchen, I find joy in preparing raw vegan recipes. It’s a delightful way to express creativity and enjoy healthy, delicious food.
- My personal style mirrors my appreciation for simplicity and minimalism. I favor a wardrobe that emphasizes neutral tones and maintains a casual yet chic vibe.
- When it comes to interior design, I approach each project with a fresh perspective. I don’t confine myself to one particular style. Instead, I adapt each design to fit the specific context and needs of my clients, often incorporating floral arrangements and vintage touches.
- I draw inspiration from a variety of designers and architects, including the classics like Gio Ponti, Ettore Sottsass, Hans J. Wegner, and Alvar Aalto, as well as contemporary figures such as Peter Zumthor and Rem Koolhaas.
